yesterday was the 1st day of school in polytechnic! it was fun lah! hahaha.
first lesson was 3d art fundementals. we were supposed to make stuff out of clay. make whatever you want to. like anything. but you had to make the first model blindfolded. haha. so i did some random "gingerbread-man" style figurine with fists in the air and as if it was jumping up. then for the open eye one, i made some random head sporting a mullet. lol. and an electric guitar with an amp right next to it. my first ever piece of work. hahaha. it was so fun playing with the clay lah. i named the piece "Rock & Roll". next up was the 3 hour break. omg. first fardly, audrey and i went to eat at kfc, slack and all. then went back to the school library to look around and somehow saw sean and jason there. sat around for a little, went to the design canteen for some drinks and soon enough, it was 3pm! time for next lesson. communicating design ideas. lol. it was just a short session and we were released at like 4.20pm to do an assignment. finished it up with my group in like 15-20 mins? went to check out the pondok and it was actually quite fun. haha. shall visit them when i'm bored.
after school, i went home and fixed up my bike. went to yang ee's house to fix brakes and all. yay. fly brakes. shiok. i was wearing shorts but i went to ride anyway. just to test my brakes out. so many people at sp. anyway i was rather happy with my riding last night. like, i pulled off a feeble to manual to 180 first try. did unnatural 180s and all. haha. went home to rest after that.
this morning, i woke up at 5.30am! we were going to town to ride somerset skate park. errol, han wei, jon wee and i. the park was kinda wet when we got there. but we just played around while waiting for it to dry up. the entire session was so fun lah. haha. learnt some new tricks and all. and before we left, i tried 180-ing the entire box jump. failed. like 5-6 attempts. there were a few which were quite close but the rollback was just too fast. i couldn't control them. haha. oh well, i shall try them again the next time i go to somerset. now i'm back home and sleepy. haha.
